What is the cost of motorcycle insurance?
I currently am looking into buying a yamaha v-star 650cc. I have been to the progressive website, but i do not wish to grant them access to pull my credit profile (just dont think its neccessary for quoting insurance). So now i am asking everyone. I will be 25 in August, I am married, and have an excellent driving record. Does anyone have an estimate price for full coverage insurance for Louisiana. Thanks.

I pay $125/ yr. for my 2006 Sportster 883
I pay 135.00 for a year for my 78 Honda 750 but not full coverage.
I can say this over and over and over everytime a question about how much insurance is comes up.
Don’t ask nobody other than an insurance agent. The fastest and easeist way is get the yellow pages and call as many insurance agents as possible to find the best rate.
Not all insurance companies will charge the same and not all people are charged the same insurance rates regardless if they are the same age with the same motorcycle. Where you live also has a major impact on your insurance rates.
Be advised that an accurate quote requires your entire background and driving history. So whether it is online, over the phone or in person, they’ll ask you for you SS# and will get your credit history that way.
