Where would you get them? I saw a really nice truck and on the website it said Arlen Ness made them and installed them but I googled Arlen Ness and it said they made motorcycle parts. Can you put motorcycle mirrors on a car? Where would I go to buy custom side mirrors for my truck? Thanks a bunch.

I just bought my first bike (1990 VFR 750), I do all my own work and obviously my auto parts store won't sell any motorcycle parts. Does anyone know a good website/store to order parts from (I've found Bike Bandit to be too expensive and haven't found anything else that would work).
Thanks for the help!

I have taken off the clutch plate on my bike and I am putting on a new gasket. I was unsure if I should use a gasket sealer with the new gasket. I am just learning about working on bikes so any information would help. I would also like to know of any web pages good for buying motorcycle parts.

Here in columbus we have a motorcycle parts store called Iron Pony and they find companies all over the country that are going out of business and buy up their parts.... end result i got 0 riding jacket for . Is there a similar entity for car parts. if not whos got the deals (besides ebay)
I am very car savy. I know my stuff when it comes to knowing what brands are good and which are crap, and i never buy generic parts, or from companies i've not heard of until I research them. I'm just looking for seom websites, stores or catalogs that dont overprice their stuff

Hi there, I'm new at riding and have little experience with bikes. I was recently given a Yamaha 650 (with a free paintjob of my choice) from the 80's sometime... I'm not sure what year exactly. It doesn't start, I was told that the problem is probably electrical and that it has been sitting for quite some time.

I'm very excited about this new restoration project. I just want the bike in running condition so I can go cruising around town with my family and friends. I'd like to stay as cheap as possible, which is one of the reasons I'm getting the bike anyway: to save gas money. The man who gave it to me said it should cost much more than 100 dollars to get it up and running, if that much because it's in pretty good condition. Here's what I know so far:

- Check the basic stuff: fuel lines, filter, lights, etc.
- I know how to clean the carburetor.
-Check the battery, plugs, etc.

Here's what I don't know:
-Where the heck do you buy motorcycle parts?! I noticed that AutoZone doesn't have Yamaha parts... So I'm at a loss!

I just want to get this thing running before summer is done :) I'd really like to get the motorcycle driving test finished soon as well. Also I'm really looking forward to putting some work into this thing and learning a lot. Any comments?

I am on this forum for buying and selling motorcycle parts. Some people are able to insert pictures in to their posts. All I can figure out is how to insert a link to a web site, but the actual picture does not show up. I have tried everything that I know of.

I am trying to get pictures from www.Webshots.com to show up in a forum on Delphi Forums. I have tried the embed option etc... I just cannot figure it out.

I want to get into it, for now I don't want to use spray guns as I only want to spray motorcycle parts which are relatively small and I've been advised by my girlfriend's father to use aerosols (He used to spray all sorts of vehicles). I just want to know the best way to do it in the most affordable way cause at the moment I just wanna experiment. I bought a Yamaha R125 hugger from eBay the other day so I want to practice on that first, but i'd like to move onto bike fairing etc, I've looked about and noticed that you have to have the right kind of paint to apply to the material you're spraying on, so if anyone could give me a quick step-by-step guide that'd be excellent. The girlfriend's dad has given me a few pointers but I don't wanna hassle him about it too much and I've looked on Yahoo Answers but haven't found the right solution for myself yet.

I live in the United States and I am thinking of buying some motorcycle parts from someone living in Germany. What is the easiest and safest way to make an out of country purchase? Also, he would like to be payed in Euros. How do this? If he gives me his bank account number an I transfer money into this account will it automatically be converted to Euros? Is there a type of money order in Euros I can send? I am very confused about how to make this work, so any information would be a great help.

When you buy a tire, does every single number of the size have to be matched? For example, when the owner's manual states the size of "120/90-17", can you use 120/90-18"? My parts catalogue doesn't have the size I need.
(Which motorcycle parts shop sell tires for low price?)
Thank you.

I have Harley-Davidson motorcycle parts that are all for models 2000 and later. Some of these parts are for Softails. There is everything from exhaust pipes to handlegrips. A great percentage of these parts have never been used, and all of them are exactly like new.
