I'm a casual dirt biker (though I have a proper MX dirt bike: 03 yamaha YZ 125) and I'm buying a motorcycle this spring. I've been told it's perfectly fine to use my dirt bike helmet (DOT approved).

Only I got wondering about wind resistance... At top speed of about 100km/h I feel a good amount of wind resistance when I turn my head sideways on the yamaha but I'm wondering if that might cause too much fatigue doing that on the highway at 120km/h while constantly checking the traffic.

I'm just wondering if a full faced motorcycle helmet might offer a noticeable decrease in wind resistance to prevent neck fatigue. I can't remember how annoying it was on my dirt bike.

For example, you MUST wear a seat belt, You cannot take any drugs except those that gov. allows you, you must wear a motorcycle helmet, you must get vaccinations gov tells us(children), soon to come-you must buy health insurance.etc,etc,etc.

Notice that all of the above mentioned examples and the hundreds more are ALL punishable by a monetary fine. Anyone else feel as though government should stay out of peoples business and not try to make decisions for the masses?

but i am unclear if i'm allowed to ride my moped (50 cc) max speed of 30 mph, in the bike lane, i have no motorcycle endorsment on my license. I have a class "C" license. I'm above 16 years old. i think it still has a vin on it. but when i bought it it dident come with any papers, it came with an license plate with expired tags. i have removed all headlights and blinkers because they were smashed beyond repair. so I decided to take them off. I've drove it around before, wearing my DOT approved motorcycle helmet. I use my hand turn signals at all times. Right now the moped is running LOUD, but if i run it within noise ordinance ( 7am - 10 pm) is that fine? sounds like a weed whacker at high rpm.

question 1.) can i ride this in the bike lane's in the according flow of traffic?

question 2.) RIght now there isnt a muffler on it.(just a makeshift one) could i get a noise violation?

its a 2-stroke engine BTW, but in oregon we dont have emissions testing.

They're telling you what to drive (SUV's are evil), what kind of light bulbs to use (no more incandescents), can't use coconut oil on popcorn in movie theaters, they're going to tax smokers to death (yeah it's not healthy but it's still a free country) while at the same time trying to make marijuana smoking legal, wear your seat belts, wear a motorcycle helmet, always trying to out law guns, etc., etc., etc. They're even telling people in Spokane County, WA they can't buy the type of dishwashing detergent that works! Anyone tired of the "do gooders" telling you they know better then you how to live?

I have done a lot of homework on this. I know ARAI and Schoei are the best but I am choosing to buy something more affordable (please don't tell me that I should spend as much money as I value my head unless you have some valid links with data/reviews/reports to support your claim). I have read great reviews on the Scorpion Exo (http://www.webbikeworld.com/r2/motorcycle-helmet/scorpion/exo-400/) but I can't find any info on the Vega mach (or even on Vega in general). What would you choose (between those two)? Thank you in advance...

I just got Fallout 3 Game of the Year Edition, and I've taken Three Dog's quest to get a new Satellite dish for the Washington monument.

I just can't seem to stay alive, though. I buy at least 20 stimpacks before I go scouting around Megaton or Underworld, but those dang Super Mutants and Raiders really wear down my Med supplies. I go in with my combat shotgun, hunting rifle, assault rifle, laser pistol, laser rifle, and the occasional frag grenade, but I can never get around all the Super Mutants in the trenches in front of the Museum of Technology.

I have combat armor and the motorcycle helmet, 250 HP, and plenty of meds, but I can't keep my HP above 100 after a little while in the Wastes.

Anybody have tips or tricks that would help?

I posted a motorcycle helmet for sale. It didn't sale, so I re-posted. It still didn't sell.
I also posted a cell phone that didn't sell. Just wondering what some tips are to make things sell so that I'm not just wasting money by posting things. I usually post for 5 days. Is this bad? I have zero points so far because I have never bought or sold anything.

I bought those for my motorcycle helmet and the flyer said they were tested up to 175 mph,one of mine fell off at 30mph,they're just suction cups but does anybody know something that would keep them stuck good to a black helmet even in the hot sun?

The other day I was looking for a Jacket my ex bought me last Christmas. Couldn't find it and then it hits me that I left it at her house and its been more than 7 months since we split. Why would she hold on to a gift that was for me?

I find it weird that my ex is also hanging on to my old Marine Corp Sweatshirts (even after she said she hated Marines) and a Motorcycle helmet I bought for her. (she dosen't own one, she rode on the back). I haven't talked to her in months and I'm not going to call her to ask for it back. To me its as good as trashed. I just want to understand why.

I bought a Mk VI helmet for like 30 dollars at FYE like last Christmas so My idea was pop out that visor and place it on the inside of my new helmet. The problem is, I think my mom threw out my helmet (Yeah, Really) that I was going to use for the RECON. If I don't find it I'm gonna need back up material (Needs to be orange tint. Needs to be "one way" so I can see from the inside.) I have heard the idea of using a Motorcycle helmet bubbleshield but I'm not spending 40 dollars per shield. "If worst comes to worse. I'll buy a helmet at a Halloween store and use my idea, but It would be a pain spending another 30 dollars. Please post your suggestion with the specifications stated above. Thank you.

What is the name of this motorcycle helmet? Despite the fact it's got the KTM logo printed on it, is it an actual commercial helmet that I can buy or was it specially manufactured to promote the KTM? Or is it just an Arai or AGV that has been painted and had the "KTM" sticker pasted onto it? There are various other cool helmets that seem to have been specifically made for the company of the motorcycle, such as Piaggio and Honda.
