I'm looking to buy my first motorcycle and I've managed to narrow my choices down to motorcycles: a Kawasaki Ninja 250R and a Suzuki GS500F. I found both models at pretty much the same price used, no chance of buying new since this will be my first bike. Which one is a better choice? I won't be riding on the highway all too often but the occasional 1 or 2 hour ride is possible. Also on an optional side note, is the Yamaha FZ6R a good starter bike at all as the company claims? Thanks in advance.
I'm looking to buy an older motorcycle. I've been looking at 70's and early 80's models mostly. I.E. '74 Honda CB360, '72 Honda CB450. Whats a good older motorcycle that would be easy to work on and be safe enough to drive at highway speeds? I
'm looking to spend around 0 on the bike and maybe another 0 to fix it up and get it road ready.
What is the name of this motorcycle helmet? Despite the fact it's got the KTM logo printed on it, is it an actual commercial helmet that I can buy or was it specially manufactured to promote the KTM? Or is it just an Arai or AGV that has been painted and had the "KTM" sticker pasted onto it? There are various other cool helmets that seem to have been specifically made for the company of the motorcycle, such as Piaggio and Honda. So, if it exists for sale at the shop, what's the name (model name) of the helmet? Please check the link below:

I have an HJC open-face helmet which is fine except that a lot of air comes around the face shield. I also have read that a full face helmet is much safer. I have also read on "ask" that I shouldn't buy a helmet online without first trying on several models.
I have been researching possibly buying a used/pre-owned motorcycle. I love Harley Davidsons like the Sportster and the 1200 series, but man are they expensive and I heard very high maintenance. I have heard that Hondas and Yamahas in the higher powered models are easier to maintain and cheaper to service. What is your opinion on owning a bike and what is your preference. Still, there is nothing like that Harley sound when it's cranked up on the freeway. Thanks
Why do these models smoke so badly at startup and for awhile thereafter?
Hi. My friend and I want to do a cross country road trip from Denver to Alaska this summer. Neither of us have that much biking experience so we need help finding out about good models and tips for owning and operating a motorcycle long distance. Any advice would help, destinations, equipment to bring, what NOT to do, advice.....
I plan to take it soon and was going to buy a bike within the next 2 months. How am I suppose to get my bike to the DMV? Do they issue some kind of permit for this? I live in Texas if you you need to know.
I was going to buy a used sportbike, but I was wondering if yall had any makes or models you would recommend.
I just bought an old Honda motorcycle, VIN CL 90 227331. I have searched everywhere and of course, all of the VIN decoders only do newer models than what this one is. Any info would be helpful.
Thanks
I am 13, weigh about 125, and am 5-6. I currently have a small mini-bike that I use for trail riding at my cabin. I have really enjoyed this and will continue to enjoy it but it does not have enough power for me and i am starting to out grow it. I recently have started looking into motorcycles and thinking about buying one.
I would use this motorcycle for trail riding up at my cabin, but also take it to local motocross tracks and practice with it or maybe even enter a mx race. These are the two motorcycles that I have found that I like. Also please recommend any other models that you think would help me but try to keep them in the price range.
also, In am mx race, Will there be a different race for a different bike class? Does a 125cc have as much power as a 250cc? thanks!
And Can I raise or lower the seat height of these bikes?
I just graduated MSF and I'm going to buy a motorcycle in a couple weeks and I'm getting a head start on purchasing gear. So what is the best full-face helmet that I can get for around 0?
Specific examples please. Like models and such. Thanks.

I have a double bike trailer that is 9 years old and seen its better day. I have a 2 yr old and a 5 yr old that I would like to cart around. I've looked at few models and the seats seem to slant in the middle which would make the kids squish together. I'm looking for an inexpensive trailer that the boys won't be sitting on top of each other. Can anyone help??? Thanks
I just read about Honda closing down the motorcycle assembly plant in Ohio. I am looking for a different used bike to buy for spring, and the themes kind of blended. Which models did Honda assemble there, especially in the 15 years? I know currently the VTX1800/1300 and Goldwing. Thanks.
I would like to buy a motorcycle and im choosing between two models the yamaha sniper 135 cc or the suzuki raider 150 cc..I dont know which is faster? and which is cooler when it comes to design?can spmeone help me on this.
My husband wants a Yamaha R1 very badly! I really want to get him one for Christmas this year. I am knowledgable of cars however outside of Harley Davidsons I am completely clueless to motorcycles. I know that the newer models are VERY expensive, but I am wondering if I were to buy a later model like a 94" or 95" would that save me some money and where do I find it at. I live in Rochester, NY. OK GUYS ! HELP A SISTA OUT !(ha-ha)
I have Harley-Davidson motorcycle parts that are all for models 2000 and later. Some of these parts are for Softails. There is everything from exhaust pipes to handlegrips. A great percentage of these parts have never been used, and all of them are exactly like new. For more information please contact www.myspace.com/davids_harley_parts2000 , and view the photo section.
