i got about 4g's saved up. and im undecided on what to spend it on, either buying a used decent motorcycle (hopefully a yamaha r6) and pay cash, which iv been wanting for a very long time. or spend most of it of the money on restoring my nova to running conditions. what do you guys suggest?

5. South Carolina doesn't require helmets but I plan on wearing one along with other safty gear

6. gas mileage is alot better on bikes which is good with gas prices now. (It gets 75 mpg for gods sake)

7. The only wrong reason I want one is that girls I know like guys who ride bikes.

I saw the video in 2005 and heard a song that reminded me of it recently.
In the video, this girl sells her hair to buy her boyfriend a helmet for his motorcycle, but he sells his motorcycle to get her this really expensive comb or brush set of something. I just really want to know the name of the song/artist.
I'm not 100% sure it was an indian music video, but it could have been. Also, I saw this a long time ago, so I don't remember any of the lyrics.

I driven bikes with alot more power, my uncle has acouple that he let my drive alone (i have a bike licence)
I've driven raceing qality bikes that have 1000cc
I have been driveing bikes for a year an a half parents don't know that but I do know how to ride. and the only place i ride FAST is at a drag strip my town has(no raceing)

My husband just bought a new Harley Davidson. He had one a long time ago, but hasn't ridden in about 20 years. I have no problem with the expense - his money, we can afford it - I am just nervous because he wants me to ride with him, and frankly, i'm afraid he will kill us both.

I have insisted on full-face helmets, but other than that, how can i steady my nerves?
Good news! Hubby and I WILL be taking a motorcycle safety course, and we invested in good full face helmets and jackets!
We're going to live!!!!!!

I'm obsessed with motorcycles and am going to buy my first one in a few months. I'm looking for a 250cc sports bike...
I have done my homework and it seems that the eligable bikes are the:

Honda CBR250RR
Yamaha FZR250, 250R and 250RR
Kawasaki ZXR250
(unfortunately the Suzuki RGV250 is banned for learners where I am)

What do you think of these bikes? Any generic problems with any of them?
Are there any other good sports bikes (not little 125s!!) which I am missing? Hyosung...? Any good?
I have heard the CBR takes a long time to 'warm up' or something... is this a big problem? What does it mean? Do the other bikes/all bikes have that problem?

Also, I am going to have the bike for at least 3 years (Ls and Ps), so is it worth getting a new one, or an old one? Any suggestions?

Any feedback to any of these questions would be greatly appreciated! I don't know many riders, so I don't have anybody to ask about these things!

My boyfriend of almost FIVE YEARS that I have put up with so much sh*# from has really never included me in much. I have always looked up to him and tried to get him to include me in things. He has been wanting a Harley for a long time. Not a problem however, I wanted to be included. He goes out and buys one yesterday ..He bought a Harley Davison Fat Boy Softtail..I think...I hope I got it right. Anyway...I always know not to get to excited because there will always be some sort of let down on my end so I waited to see what it was gonna be THIS time. I asked him when he was going to buy me a helmet. He said he only had the bike insured for one person to ride so I couldn't ride it. I started fussing a bit and then he said..that a Harley has a weight limit of 450 lbs and that me and him combined were to heavy to ride. He said he weighed almost 300 lbs and I would put it over the limit because I am over the mark. I AM SO UPSET! Is it true or is he just wanting to play single?

and got 2500 miles only, only little bit rust on the handle bar and some other parts. Everything else look OK, what do you think ? Is it a good deal or not ? I haven't drive motorcycle for long time. Should i buy it or not ?

ive been riding street and canyons for a long time and ive gotten tired of having to pay someone to mount and dismount my tires... i saw on youtube a guy doing it with 2 paddle like tools and seemed pretty easy... anyone know where i can buy such tools?? thanks
also ... where can i get the thing to balance my tires on my own?? thanks

I am really not sure if its worth it - after this summer I wıll probably not want it and will have to sell it for a bigger bike. I got my license already, but have very little exp in traffic. Been driving for a long time though. Tx

I bought a utility trailer w/o a title from a couple from S.C. (they moved here to NC about a year ago) The orig owners lost the bill of sale a long time ago, and they never registered it because tags and titles are not required on trailers in SC. I don't know what to do. DMV has not been very helpful.

I hear BMW motorcycles run for a long time but is it worth buying a used BMW motorcycle with 43500km (27000miles) on it? Or is that just asking for maintenance/engine problems?
