Let me try and get this accross first, before everyone gives me some asshole answers. If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't bother replying. Sorry, not to be rude, but my last question was bombarded with horrible answers. Ok.
I have recently decided to buy (lease) a 2007 Suzuki GSX-R600 due to a (what I think) good deal at a local dealership. ,000, price including all taxes and fees, free helmet, jacket, and gloves. Now, I have ridden dirt bikes before, many times (not a pro, but can handle alright), and I would like to ask for a general idea of how to ride one of these sport bikes. Now I'm not into racing, showing off, or stunting bikes, I like to have fun and drive 10 miles over the speed limit, that's it. I am planning on taking a Safety Course as soon as I get the bike, and a friend who is an experienced rider will be taking the bike home for me until I am ready to ride on my own. Let me know what to expect, and what to look for as a new rider. I'm looking to see what you other riders have to say, and to look back on what you guys did when you were new to motorcycles. Thanks.

just bought a suzuki gs550, and have never owned a motorcycle before (just dirt bikes), i know on my yz250 i adjusted the set screw for the clutch inside the motor to start engaging the clutch after the clutch lever was one quarter released, but this bike is starting to engage when the clutch lever is three quarter released, is this correct if not what is?

I am about to buy a 2007 Suzuki GZ250 which has a 250cc engine. I want to go from Los Angeles to New Jersey, over a few days of course.
The Suzuki GZ250 is considered a Standard Motorcycle.
I'm starting biking school soon. I use a bicycle a lot and a few years back I used to ride dirt bikes probably when I was around 14 or so.
I have no intentions of going 'Fast'. I want to ride at a nice pace and absorb my surroundings
Would this 250cc engine work for me? A cross country trip and daily commutes to work (~30 Mi. Round Trip)?
Thank you in advance for all your help!
Also if you don't have a real answer please don't answer. But I guess I can't stop you... If you have lots of free time go ahead...
By the way does anyone know what a SMALL bike means? Do they small as in small engine or small in overall size?

Hey everyone, I've been doing a lot of research lately, but I'm still not sure what equipment is best to buy for just everyday riding. I'm planning on buying a sv650f this summer, it is my first road bike, but I've ridden dirt bikes all my life so i think I should be okay. I plan on getting decked out with gear...helmet, jacket, pants, gloves, boots. I'm not looking to make it anymore dangerous than it already is. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. I also plan on taking the safety course.

MX Parts wants to know what YOU need for your bikes! We are trying to determine what service you find to be difficult to receive for your motorcycles whether they are dirt bikes or street bikes etc. Examples: New/Used Parts, repairs, monthly maintenance, custom upgrades, etc. What is it as a rider that you find you need but find it difficult to find, get, or buy for cheap? Thanks for the input!

I have a Ford F150 and i need to take 3 dirt bikes down to the lake for the weekend. If they won't fit i need to rent a trailer. Does anyone know how many dirt bikes will fit in the back, so i don't have to do a trial run before we go?

I've been reading about people using a car tire for their motorcycle's rear tire. What are the issues with this? They do it because they can get twice as many miles for half the price with a car tire. Specifically, for cruisers like a Honda 1800 VTX..not for sport or dirt bikes.

Ive had experience with dirt bikes and thats about it, but hey im only 15. if anyone out there has either of these bikes, or knows about them, could you fill me in on some pros and cons on each. Thanks. And if you know about any other cool bikes, share it with me. P.S. im not planning on buying one anytime soon, but id like to get a good idea so i can save up.

I have been on dirt bikes and crotch rockets before but this is a whole different class of motorcycle. I'm just trying to figure out what questions I should be asking and what I should be looking for when buying. Are there certain accessories that I should be looking for or some that I should stay away from. I want to make the best, most educated decision I can about buying one since they are very pricey. Hope some of the more experienced riders can give me some good advice
If you have any info on good deals on used goldwings (2001-2005) I would love to hear about that as well. I have been searching classifieds, ebay, and few member clubs looking for a decent price on a one. Thanks for any help you can give

How do I sue the *** out of Yamaha motorcycles? I am mad at them because in one of their magazine advertisements they advertise their deadly quad bikes and dirt bikes to elementary school aged children. On the advertisement photo are displayed a girl about the age of 10 and a boy about the age of 12 standing hapilly next to their quad/dirt bikes that their irresponsible parents had purchased for them as if it's a toy. How could Americans be so retarded? Who in their right mind purchases a death machine for their school aged children? They may never live to be the age of 18. You may never ever see them grow up since the dirt bike you bought them killed them. Or paralized them for life which is even worse. I want to know why you parents do this sort of stuff and why you're not even arrested for such unethical behavior? Because every year many American children die on such deadly recreation vehicles.
I also what to know what is the process of Sueing Yamaha Motorcycles.

I'm just trying to figure out some of the best websites to buy parts from, both for motorcycles, dirt bikes, and cars/trucks.
The biggest thing I'm looking for is low price/low shipping, as well as a wide selection.
What are your favorites?
