Need help decoding old Honda Motorcycle VIN?
I just bought an old Honda motorcycle, VIN CL 90 227331. I have searched everywhere and of course, all of the VIN decoders only do newer models than what this one is. Any info would be helpful.

And there is nothing on the head pipe of the bike? No little metal tag with the year etc?
The vin indicates the bike is an old CL 90 as to year, I don’t know right off the bat.
