I own 2 bikes, Suzuki M50 and a Yamaha FZ6
my dream bike is the Honda Interceptor
the best time of year to buy accessories is in the winter when they are on sale, and that’s the time I buy them.
I buy most accessories on-line
dealers are too expensive and the people at their parts counter are rude, and they lie,
Motorcycle Dealers really need to clean up their act and start treating their customers with respect, nobody wants to walk into any dealership in a good mood and excited about motorcycles and then leaving there mad and pissed off.
I told one dealer I would have paid $80 more for that part off of you if you would have treated me right.
Motoguzzi
Winter second hand, or when stock take clearences are on at shops
Ebay is good for parts so is the local dealer but expensive
Honda Goldwing.
I buy parts & accessories any time I need them.
I prefer to patronize my local retailers, but I have bought (a few) items on-line, and through eBay (Always thru glenched teeth. God, I hate PayPal !!!!)

Now I’m riding a 05 Harley Deuce. Mostly I buy from my local dealers if possible, but at times I do buy on line. the only problem with buying on-line that I’ve found is that when you have questions about certain aftermarket accessories the person selling will tell you that it will fit even if it really wont with out alot of modification. Prime example: I bought a set of saddle bags from a gal in Oklahoma. I had questions about the bags fitting the Deuce I have since she advertised them not needing a mounting kit. She said they would fit. To make a long story short, they didn’t, with out a mounting bracket to keep them out of the wheel. It cost me 38.00$ in shipping costs to receive and to ship back. They count on this high shipping cost to keep you from sending things back. It’s alot higher cost to get the Harley bags but you know what your getting and you know they will fit. I try to buy when things are on sale or when business is slow, mainly in the cold months.
