I’m looking to get my motorcycle painted, where is a good place to go?
I have a 2001 600cc Suzuki Katana. I bought this bike dirt cheap from a friend that recked it, and I've fully restored it. BUT, the parts I used are different colors. So, I'm not looking for a custom paint job. I just wanted to get it painted a solid color, nothing fancy. I was just wondering where would be a place to go without spending a fortune?

Check around your local auto-body paint shops; those who do motorcycles will advertise in yellow pages as a cross-reference. Check with your buddies or Google in your area: don’t rush this, as quality can vary a lot, altho the going rate is standard at ~$200-300.
You can cut expenses by doing the prep work yourself- Bondo in all the dings and scrapes, clean off any oils and waxes, handprints off, light fine sanding all over to uniform surface. Check first before you apply primer: a good shop might prefer to do that step. Bring in all the pieces in a bundle, so all they have to do is place the parts on stands in paint booth.
i guess it depends where you live
