how to trailer a motorcycle?
I have an open trailer and want specific advice regarding how to transport a sport-bike (Honda CBR1000) without damaging it or the trailer.

Keep the bike vertical (not on sidestand) and attach a couple of straps to the handlebars or other high points. You’ll want to compress the springs a bit since any shifting of weight might loosen a strap and the bike will fall over. You’ll want a couple of straps clamping down the rear too, say the passenger footpegs. Before you tighten any of these straps be sure to put them all on and try to cinch them up evenly, else the bike will tip over as you concentrate on one of them.
Strap it down and put your parking brake on.
if its a trail thats like full u have to pull it in with the tire towards the back left corner if u place it in with right corner than that itch is gonna get stuck and hell to get out. if its open trailer pull it up it anyways make sure arms are locked and than strap it down front and back tire. if u have truck with long bed pull it up front tire behind driver side and trap across
The best way is to get a wheel chock for the front wheel and bolt it to the trailer floor. Then install D-rings into the trailer floor on each side of the bike or at least use an existing tie-down point so that you can pull down on the handlebars and keep the wheel snug in the chock.
with a ramp and a pickup truck. i use it.
wrap a bungee or tape over the brake leaver and throttle after pulling it on
