My x and I were together for almost 9 years. We were never married and there is no common law marriage in Missouri but this feels like a divorce. We split about a month ago and I need to get my things out of our house. (it's in his name) He is being very picky about what I can take and what I can't. He doesn't think the things he gave a gifts throughout the years should go with me. I'm not asking for the things I gave him back. For instance, we used to ride a motorcycle together and he bought me a helmet a couple years ago. Right now his new girl has it and I told him I wanted it back. He doesn't agree. He called me the other day because he wants the two pillows I took from the bed back because his mom bought those for us. What do I do if he becomes difficult and I can't get all my stuff?

I'm looking to exercise more and would like to be able to take my 18 month along with me. I'd love to be able to bike ride as I hate walking b/c it is too boring. Can I get a "cruising" bike or do i need gears? Also need a safe/reliable trailer but can't spend a lot. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated!
I slam Bush every chance I get and one member (BEV) thinks I should be a conservative because I know the Old Harley Motorcycle and how they work.
I started building pans from baskets before after market Harley parts were available. I can say this, I had meaningful employment under Democrats where I could buy more parts for my bikes and when Bush was in Dad and son I could not spend as much on my bikes.
I may buy a Yamaha motorcycle. I believe the tenth digit in the VIN tells the model year. It is an "A" for the motorcycle. Which year is that? thank you!
I am a fairly new rider and when I first purchased riding gear I wasnt sure what to buy. I am extremely happy with my jacket and helmet, but I'm not sure about my gloves. Having only used one type of gloves I was wondering if anyone could give me advice on the subject.
Currently I am wearing some type of nylon gloves with reinforcement on the knuckles. The problem is when I park it for a few hours (at school) in the seat compartment, when I come out of class, they are extremely stiff and hard to move. It has been exceptionally hot here in cali and I am sure my hands get kind of sweaty, so when stored in my bike seat the become kind of crusty ( I know, sounds bad, but true). I was thinking of getting some leather ones and was wondering if this might fix the problem. Any advice would be good. Today because of the stiff fit a piece of my glove got stuck between my palm and the throttle and I inadvertently revved the engine pretty high. and last week a similar thing happened while I was in gear and it scared me a bit.
So rather then looking at a different material, like leather, I should be possible looking at something that as more ventilation?
Which one would you pick?
The child carrier (basically sits on your bike, behind you.)
The bicycle trailer (one you pull when riding your bike and the child sits closer to the ground.)
and how is the axel grease packed?
I've rode a moped and a small dirt bike as a child. i just got my motorcycle permit and i'm thinking of buying a 1986 750 suzuki intruder. The guy wants ,000 but i bet i can talk him down to ,500. Is this a bad idea?
hi i just bought a cbr600f3 and the stick that marks how much fluid you need is way under so i was wondering what kind of fluid do i need. please and thanks ahead of time
I'm a bit of a neophyte with all this, but here's the setup:
I'm planning a cross-country road trip (with a slight bit of basic off-roading) starting in Utah, going through California, down to Georgia and back to Utah. I currently am planning to buy a new (hopefully) 07 or 08 Kawasaki KLR 650. Since the last bike I owned was 10 years ago and I took it to a shop for repairs, how do you (duh!) get a bike repaired should there be a mechanical failure with it? Should I look up Kawasaki dealerships around the areas I'll be in, just in case, or is there another way. The old "fix it yourself" adage doesn't work for me. I'm the world's worst repair man.
Thanks!
What about oil changes? I'm religious about changing my oil every 3000 miles in my car, and I know that on the highway you can go further, but who does that? Just dealers?
...that are honda design engines ? Like, clone engines, the parts should interchange.
The idea is to buy them cheap and then put performance parts in them that are meant for a "real" honda engine.
I have one myself, a 90cc "panterra" chinese brand dirtbike that is actually a honda 86cc motor. I can buy a honda 86cm3 sized piston from honda and install it if i wanted to.
I am a beginer rider and I look foward to purchasing a green 2008 ninja 250R. I more or less made up my mind about the bike, but i have no idea about what kind of helmet, jacket, gloves, pants. gloves etc. to buy. I am looking for affordable brands that will get the job done and that will match my bike. I know of icon, they seem to make some pretty good stuff. are they good? are they too expensive? what is a good brand that isnt too expensive. just any information you guys know i would appreciate it, thanks.
I've finally got this dang stripped bolt off and along with the rotor cover, but I'm unsure on how to remove the rest of it correctly.

I've removed the bolts from the center circle and all that's left is the coil, It doesn't seem to come out easily, how do I remove it without damanging it? Also there is a cable that I've circled in blue, how do I remove this and reinstall it? it seems to be installed with some gummy type of material, what do I need to buy so I can reinstall it with the new rotor cover?
ALSO, PLEASE ADDRESS THE QUESTIONS ON THE ACTUAL PHOTOS. Everyone has been so helpful so far, I love you motorcycle pros you are the best with my motorcycle questions!!

im looking into buying either a Suzuki motorcycle or a Toyota supra-1996ish or newer.. i would like it if you could tell me some pros and cons about mileage cars and how many miles are bad. i looked up another persons question and people said 100k miles on the car is bad. then i saw another one which is 253k miles. a mechanic answered to that and said its fine so long as its maintained well.
Just bought a used motorcycle with a cracked speedo lens and dent on its chrome rim. Where can I get a new lens or would it be better to get a glass shop to cut one for me?
Im 23, and 4 years ago I attempted a bike trip across Canada. Later I went on a trip through the rocky mountains, and did some motorcycle trips through there too. Ill always remember those days, because of the feeling I had which is hard to describe. I was lonely, and there was something melancholic and aching about riding and being surrounded by mountains. Years later, why do I always feel like I need to return there. Anyone else out there who has some sort of landscape ingrained into their subconscious?
Hi I want to open my own business in London. I want a motorcycle shop, I gather it would be cheaper to start my own than buy, what do I need to do to start the business? Do I need a license from the council? or can I get a place to rent and just start repairing bikes and selling secondhand ones? I would also like to sell helmets and other bits of stuff as well.
Has anyone done this?
I know bikes and have a partner who is interested in doing this with me.
i am just asking, he DOES WEAR his helmet, just want to know, and, do i have to stop at the STOP signals too?? (this is when im alone, with my baby always stop)
Looking to haul a Harley heritage softtail and a ultra classic in a 7x10 motorcycle trailer. Is this possible?
i ride a 08 kawasaki vulcan 900 custom and i cant seem to find a white wall rear tire wider than 180mm ... is there one out there?
my boyfriend just bought me my first motorcycle. it is a 1981 yamaha exciter 250. it has around 11,000 miles on it. should i get the chain replaced on it? i have no idea when it was last replaced and i just want to be on the safe side.
kinds of new parts and when I started putting them on the bike none of them were fitting I called yamaha and when they seached by the vin number they say the bike is a 99 yz250. I called the store I got it from and they just hung up on me. My receipt says I bought 2002 and I am now out about 600 for all the accessories I bought that wont fit on the bike. What should be my next step and can I get back any of the money Im out for the parts? I bought most on ebay so I cant return them. Thanks
